Michael Lee Miller, 20, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016.
Michael was born in Chesapeake, Va., on July 30, 1995, to Christina Miller. Michael had a bright, shining life. He brought joy to everyone he met, lit up every room he entered and told the worst jokes ever! He grew up on the Outer Banks of North Carolina and in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Michael loved farming with his Papaw. He was very proud of graduating from the Cedar Rapids Homeschool Program at 16, flying his first plane at 16, and especially of his time in the Air Force.
Michael is survived by his mother, Christina Miller, and brother, Kaleb Miller, both of Cedar Rapids; his grandmother, Donna Miller of Wayland; and his aunts, uncles and cousins, BJ and Jana Miller and family, Doug and Jennifer Miller and family, Matt and Lisa Miller and family, Elizabeth Miller, Patricia Miller and John Miller, all of Wayland.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Miller.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 5, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, 4200 First Ave. NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404, from 2 to 6 p.m. Following the regular church service, a memorial service will be Sunday, March 6, at 1:30 p.m. at Spirit of Faith Family Church, 4070 22nd Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404. Pastor Jay Eberly will conduct the service.
Memorials may be directed toward the family.
