MICHAEL "MIKE" FITZPATRICK
Cedar Rapids
Michael "Mike" Fitzpatrick, 67, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021,
at St. Luke's Hospice.
Mike was born Sept. 10, 1953, to Patrick and Patricia Fitzpatrick in Cedar Rapids. He was a handsome, intelligent, charismatic, talented person who graduated from Regis High School and the University of Iowa. Mike spent his career in sales, which suited him well because he never knew a stranger.
Mike was an avid golfer, but naturally never had a good game. He was the legacy to his dad's namesake float for the SaPaDaPaSo Parade until he moved from Cedar Rapids, at which time his sister Molly took over.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are his daughters, Sara (James) Clasen and Kelly Fitzpatrick, both of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Abby and Ryan Clasen; his sisters, Peggy (Steve) Erusha of Cedar Rapids, Kathy (Bill) Perret of Carmel, Ind., and Molly Claypool (Mark Troendle) of Cedar Rapids; and many lifelong friends.
There will be no services.
