Michael J. Kriz, 65, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, May 2, 2021, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, Iowa. A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Friday, May 7, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids. A funeral service will follow at noon Friday
at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Linwood Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. All guests are respectfully requested to wear a mask and practice social distancing. A livestream of the funeral service may be accessed on the funeral home website tribute page for Michael, under "photos and videos or media," starting at noon Friday, May 7.
Survivors include his brother, James Kriz; and sister and caregiver, Lynnae Kriz.
