Michael Paul ("Ken") Kennedy, 60, formerly of Coralville, passed away suddenly Dec. 17, 2013, in Bellingham, Wash. A gathering to remember Michael will be held in the Red Room of The Sanctuary Pub in downtown Iowa City Wednesday, May 28, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Michael was born Feb. 22, 1953, in Iowa City. The son of Dr. James A. and Barbara Kennedy, he was a 1972 graduate of Iowa City West High School.
He is survived by two sisters, Susan Elkin of Morgantown, W.Va., and Anne (Paul) Salamon of Cedar Rapids; and a nephew, Karl Salamon. Mike was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jean.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. May 31 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Coralville.
