Michael J. Palmersheim, 60, of Anamosa, Iowa, passed away Sunday, Sept. 17, 2023.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Community Center in Manchester, Iowa, from 5 to 9 p.m., on Friday, Sept. 22, 2023.
Michael was born on June 5, 1963, in Manchester, Iowa, the son of Ronald and Helen (Franzen) Palmersheim. He graduated from West Delaware High School in 1981.
Mike had a deep passion for mechanics. He enjoyed working on tractors and any odd jobs with a motor. He embraced the challenges he faced as a mechanic. He cherished the many moments with his grandchildren. He enjoyed storytelling and a cold Busch Light.
Survivors include his children, Kyle, Steve, and Jess; a longtime partner, Nancy and her children, Brandon and Ashley; eight grandchildren; his mother, Helen Palmersheim; six siblings; several in-laws; and many, many nieces and nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Palmersheim; brother, Randy Palmersheim; and Jason Walton, whom he considered a son.
