Michael Dudley Galyon passed away Friday, Sept. 22, 2017, because of an auto accident at the age of 19 years.
He is survived by his parents, Andrew and Misty Galyon; a brother, Korban Galyon; a sister, Kathryn Galyon, all of Williamsburg; grandparents, Gary and Cindy Galyon of Nacogdoches, Texas, and Grace Strebeck and Lee Feldman, both of Gibson City, Ill.; three aunts, Sara Thorndyke of Gibson City, Alana Bundrant of Nacogdoches and Julia Pelletier of Denver, Colo.; and an uncle, Patrick Galyon of Lubbock, Texas; along with numerous extended family.
A Celebration of Life service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at the Williamsburg High School auditorium. Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the auditorium. Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg is caring for Michael and his family. Messages and tributes may be left at www.powellfuneralhomes.com.
In lieu of flowers, a Williamsburg High School scholarship fund has been established in Michael's name at US Bank in Williamsburg.
