Michael D. Evans, 32, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015, at his home. Family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service,
Marion. Celebration of Life: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, at the funeral home with a one hour
visitation before the
service.
Michael is survived by his parents, Jeff and Julie Evans of Cedar Rapids; sister, Brandi (fiance, Dan Pilgrim) Evans of Manchester; aunts and uncles, Julie (Kevin) Thie, Wendy (Troy) Anderson, Brian Brodersen and Jeff Brodersen; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George R. and Ruth Jeanette Evans; and maternal grand-parents, James H. and Mary E. Brodersen.
Michael was born July 29, 1983, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Jeff and Julie Evans. He graduated from Cedar Valley Christian School. Michael worked in sales for iWireless for many years.
He loved music, especially playing his guitar. He enjoyed spending time at the cabin in Guttenberg on the Mississippi, boating, fast cars and motorcycles.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family in Michael's
memory.
