MICHAEL EUGENE EDWARDS
Quincy, Ill.
Michael Eugene Edwards, age 73, of Quincy, Ill., passed in his sleep Jan. 15, 2018, at Timberpoint Nursing Home.
Michael was born Nov. 22, 1944, in Bowling Green, Mo., the son of Harry Edwards and Claudine McPike Cannon, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his sister, Eleanor (children Frank and Sylvia); half-sister Peggy; Michelle Edwards, Caryn Davis, Terry Edwards, Darin Williams, Dana St. Juste, Michael Rees and numerous grand- and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Michael served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged after three years of service. Services will be held Jan. 27, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Whiterose Baptist Church, 1117 W. Locust St., Bowling Green, Mo. Cards, flowers and donations for the memorial can be sent to Duker & Haugh Funeral Home, 823 Broadway St. Quincy, IL 62301.
