Michael Joseph "Mike" Dohrer, 60, formerly of Iowa City, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2015, at his home in Tulare, Calif., after an extended illness. The family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, at Lensing Funeral Service in Iowa City. A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Church in Iowa City. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following at the Knights of Columbus Family Center, 4776 American Legion Rd. SE. Burial will be in St. Vincent Cemetery in Riverside.
Memorials may be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project.
