Michael A. Davis, 55, of Hiawatha, died of natural causes Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018, at his home. Per Michael's request, there will be no service. There will be a visitation, however, at the Cedar Memorial Park
Funeral Home from 5 to
7 p.m. on Saturday. Inurnment in Cedar
Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include his parents, Larry and Sally Davis of Hiawatha; three brothers, Dan (Greta) of West Union, Doug (Kathy) of Hawkeye and Jeff (Pat) of Hiawatha; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; many friends, including special friends Greg, Drew and Connie; and his dog, Brody. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Mike was born on May 9, 1963, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Larry and Sally Berg Davis. He graduated from the University of Arizona and worked in quality control at General Mills for more than 27 years.
Mike enjoyed both the Arizona Wildcats and watching the Iowa Hawkeyes football team. He especially enjoyed the time spent with his beloved family and many friends. He forever will be remembered as a wonderful son, brother and friend, whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
