Frances Meythaler, 98, of Oelwein, died Tuesday evening, Dec. 17, 2013, at ABCM Rehabilitation Center of Independence, West Campus. Funeral Service: 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, rural Oelwein. Visitation: noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment: Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, rural Oelwein.
A memorial fund has been established for ABCM Rehabilitation Center of Independence.

Frances is survived by her son, Kenneth (Jane) Meythaler of Windsor Heights; daughter, Carol (Claire) Schnor of Oelwein; son, Dale Meythaler of Fort Dodge; four grandchildren, Tonya Schnor (Justin) of Cedar Rapids, Laurie (Dan) Mullins of Des Moines, Jeremy (Melissa) Meythaler of Kansas City, Mo., and Daniel (Britt) Meythaler of Windsor Heights; and four great-grandchildren.
