Meyer, Daniel John

Daniel John Meyer, 32, of Marion, formerly of Strawberry Point, died at his residence on Tuesday, June 26, 2012. Mass of Resurrection: 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 29, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Strawberry Point, by the Very Rev. Paul Peters. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Strawberry Point, with a 7:30 p.m. Scripture service, and one hour before services at the church on Friday. Private family interment: St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Strawberry Point.

Survivors include his wife, Allyson Meyer of Marion; his parents, George and Ellen Meyer of Strawberry Point; four siblings, Matt (Kelli) Meyer of Palo, Amanda Meyer of New Haven, Conn., Becky (fiance Chris Madsen) Meyer of Mount Vernon and Adam Meyer of Maynard; his maternal grandmother, Ivanelle Bushaw of Strawberry Point; his father- and-mother-in-law, Brad and Barbara Bright of Wheaton, Ill.; grandparents-in-law, Robert (Phoebe) Goff of Wheaton, Ill. and Margaret Pudvin of Atlanta, Ga.; sister-in-law, Carrie (Matt) Girman of Elburn, Ill.; nephews, Briggs Meyer and Michael Girman; nieces, Anna and Katie Girman; his beagle, Gracie; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
