Merville D. Brunscheen, 73, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017, at the Western Home Communities Elizabeth Martin Health Center.
He was born Sept. 9, 1944, in Anamosa, Iowa, the son of Oliver and Margaret (Luke) Brunscheen. Merville was a graduate of Midland Community School in Wyoming, Iowa, and was a farmer for many years.
He is survived by his three sisters, Nancy Dunahugh and Alma (Dennis) Bigelow, both of Cedar Falls, and Karen (Aaron) Nelson of Decatur, Ill.; his niece, Kara (Scott) Baker of Cedar Falls; his nephew, Michael (Kelly) Brunscheen of Florida; and many adored great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Merville was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Merlin Brunscheen.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Nazareth Lutheran Church Chapel in Cedar Falls, with burial at a later date. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church.
Memorials may be directed to the church or the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
