Merlin R. Schmidt, 95, of Victor, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016, at Rose Haven Care Center in Marengo.
A visitation will be from 2 until 7 p.m. Monday, March 7, with the family present beginning at 4 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Victor. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, at St. James Lutheran Church in Victor, with Pastor Michael Kolesar officiating. Interment will be at St. John's Cemetery, south of Victor.
Memorials may be directed to St. John's or St. James's Lutheran Church and sent in care of Smith Funeral Home, P.O. Box 485, Victor, IA 52347.
