After meeting at Danceland, Melvin married Marjorie Fay Tecklenburg on Sept. 3, 1946, at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Melvin loved to dance, golf, read and attend sporting events, especially his grandson's ice skating, cross country and sports meets. He was a special husband, father and grandfather. He loved laughing. Melvin had a unique sense of humor and was a friend to all. We will miss his smile and kind ways.
