Melville C. Wolf, 94, was born Jan. 4, 1920, in Hermann, Mo., the son of Emaus and Clara
(Fluetsch) Wolf. He passed away Monday, Aug, 25, 2014.
Melville proudly served in the United States Army during World War II and toured the European Theater. He retired from Quaker Oats after 31 years of faithful service. Melville enjoyed fishing, but above all else, he cherished the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Melville is survived by his children, Cliff (Kris) Wolf, Sylvia Wendt and Sonny (Tina) Wolf; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; other loving relatives and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Wolf; sister, Ruby Wolf; and his parents.
Cremation has occurred and private services will be held at a later date.
