Melissa J. Nerad, 52, of Coralvlille, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics.
Survivors include her husband, Dave, 54, of Coralville; her son, Tyler, 22, of Coralville; mother-in-law, Betty Nerad of University Heights; father-in-law, Vernon Nerad of Iowa City and Marshalltown; sisters, Christine and Gary French of Davenport and Betsy Bousselot of Naples, Fla.; a brother, Steve and Linda Stalf of Rock Island, Ill.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kevin and Nan Nerad of Iowa City, Brian Nerad of University Heights and Lynette Nerad and life partner Donald Campbell of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, at Lensing Funeral Service in Iowa City. A rosary will precede the visitation at 3:30 p.m. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8, at Grace Community Church in North Liberty, followed by burial services at Oakhill Cemetery in Coralville.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Melissa Nerad Memorial Fund.
