Megan J. (Cox) Klaus, 28, of Mount Vernon, died peacefully on Monday, Oct. 1, 2018, in her home, surrounded by her family. A vigil service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at St. John Catholic Church in Mount Vernon, where friends may visit with the family following the service until 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, at the church, with the Rev. John L. Flaherty presiding. A full obituary will be in Wednesday's Gazette. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids is in charge of arrangements.
