Meeks, George W.
George W. Meeks, 86, of Hartwick, Iowa, died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, at Grinnell Regional Medical Center. A private family graveside service will be held Thursday, Oct. 3, at Hartwick Cemetery with the Rev. Keith Morrison, Grinnell Regional Hospice Chaplain, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Grinnell Regional Hospice, 106 Fourth Ave., Grinnell, IA 50112.

George is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda Meeks of Hartwick; two daughters, Tami Mora of Cedar Rapids and Christine Meeks of Hartwick; two sons, Stacy (Kim) Meeks of Chelsea and Jason (Jocelyn) Meeks of Chelsea; four grandchildren, Jessica Mora of Cedar Rapids, Savannah Meeks and Tanner Meeks of Chelsea and Chloe Meeks of Newhall; and two sisters, Edna Uchytil and Barbara Kann.
