McParland, Nila J.
Nila J. McParland, 72, of 1446 N St. SW, Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center after a long illness. Per Nila's request there will be no visitation or service. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include a son, Timm of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Janice Bemer of Toddville; and a brother, James Goodall of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and one sister.
Nila was born March 21, 1939, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of George and Ruth (Hawley) Goodall. Nila was a homemaker, enjoyed sewing and the time spent with family and friends.
A memorial fund has been established in Nila's name.
