McNulty, Susan L.
Susan L. McNulty, 61, of Cedar Rapids, went home to be with her family in heaven and her Heavenly Father on Saturday, April 14, 2012. Services: 1 p.m. Thursday at Papich-Kuba Funeral Home East by Pastor Sheryll Untiedt. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Susan was a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, and is survived by sons, John (Julie) Pettit, Winfield, James (Amy) Clemons, Cedar Rapids, and Jonathon McNulty, Fairfax; siblings, David “Buck” (Sonja) Warren, Marion, Diana (Larry) Forbes, Anamosa, and Frank (Johna) Pettit, Cedar Rapids; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David; parents, John B. Pettit and Helen (Franks) Pettit Thorson; her brother, Ronald Warren; and an infant daughter, Jennifer Clemons.
Susan was born Dec. 12, 1950 in Cedar Rapids. She married the love of her life, David P. McNulty, in September 1982 in Salt Lake City, Utah. David died in 2002.
Susan enjoyed knitting, especially potholders.
Susan loved and enjoyed every moment she spent with her family. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a very special woman who will live forever in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her, especially in the hearts of those who loved her the most and called her “Mom”.
A memorial fund has been established in Susan's name.
