McNabb, Patricia A.

Patricia A. McNabb, 83, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Nov. 23, 2009. Services: 1 p.m. Friday at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Visitation:

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home before the service. Graveside Service: 2:30 p.m. after the service at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Iowa City.

Survivors include her son, Larry (Deanna) McNabb; son-in-law, Don Waln; daughters, Shelly (Wayne) Baker and Carole (Dave) Thomas; sons, Bill (Wanita) McNabb and Rick McNabb; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; infant daughter, Linda Joan; daughter, Theresa; and brother, James Baldwin.

Born Dec. 28, 1925, in Iowa City, Patricia was the daughter of Ralph and Wilhemina (Pohlmann) Baldwin. On June 29, 1945, she was united in marriage to Robert McNabb in Iowa City. He died Oct. 20, 1990. She worked as a medical assistant for Dr. Robson and Dr. Flynn for many years. Patricia enjoyed her family and life. She worked in St. Ludmila's church office, and was very active with all her children. Patricia also enjoyed mall walking at Westdale Mall.
