McMullen, Richard Nile
Richard Nile McMullen, 71, passed away Monday, Dec. 26, 2011, at St. Luke's after a brief illness. Private graveside services will be held at Fairfax Cemetery, at a later time.
Richard is survived by his wife, Julia; son, Brent; and stepsons, Bruce Schrader and Brian (Marla) Schrader; grandchildren, Andrew, Ashley, AJ Faith and Grace. Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Eurphrasia McMullen; and one deceased stepson, Mark.
Rich worked with his family business at Midwest Foods where he enjoyed the customers and the suppliers, later he was a guard at US Securities. Rich was a life long Iowa sports fan especially wrestling, football and basketball. “GO HAWKS”
It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God Called you home.
