McKeone, Thomas Doyle 'Tom'
Thomas Doyle “Tom” McKeone, 78, of Washington, Iowa, died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013, at his residence following a sudden illness. Celebration of Life services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, at Jones & Eden Funeral Home, with Dr. Dan McClure officiating. Visitation will begin at noon Saturday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Interment, with military honors conducted by Washington American Legion Post 29, will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Memorials have been established for the Paws and More Animal Shelter in Washington.

Tom is survived by his son, Tom McKeone and wife Alexandra of Austin, Texas; son, Jim McKeone and wife Medea of Iowa City; daughter, Candace Moore of Coralville; daughter, Carla Robertson and husband Ron of Washington; and grandchildren, Alyssa, Allyson and Abigail McKeone, Anna Barthelman, Chris Hummer, Emily Millhollin, Angie Kruse and Michelle Robertson.
