McIntosh, Mildred Charlene
Mildred Charlene McIntosh, 88, a resident of Northbrook Manor died Monday, March 28, 2011. Private services will be held. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. The Rev. Matthew Marks will officiate.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara (Richard) Curtis of Ely, and Patricia Charlene (Vince Dudek) Kindl of Marion; eight grandchildren, Jason (Kim), Matt (Glenda), Angie (Ray), Dustin (Casie), Jesse (Morgan), Anna (Jeff), Nathan (Jessie) and Jeremy (Emily); and nine great-grandchildren, Jake, Abby, Jaycee, Dakota, Parker, Paige, Haleigh, Payton and Carson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard McIntosh; a daughter, Susan K. Marks; a sister, Madelyne Houser; and a great-grandchild, Tanner.
Mildred was born Dec. 25, 1922, in Urbana, Iowa, the daughter of Clarence and Lois Wayson Waddle. She married Richard F. McIntosh on Nov. 4, 1948, in Macomb, Ill. Mildred was a homemaker. She enjoyed needle point, eating out, fishing and her scooter. Her favorite past time was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
