McGuire, John F.
John F. McGuire,82, died Sunday, July 18, 2010, at the Marengo Memorial Hospital with family members at his side. Funeral services: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, with the Rev. Jim Davis officiating. Interment will be in the Ohio Cemetery, rural Ladora. Visitation: from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Kloster Funeral Home in Marengo, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials are contributed to the Marengo Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Norma; two daughters, Pat Fry of Smyrna, Tenn., and Barb McGahuey (Terry) of Ladora; three stepchildren, Jill Happel of Brooklyn, Paula Doran (Dave) of Ladora, and Jay Coghlan (Tessie) of Marengo; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Schnebbe (Brian) of Pella, Jessica Van Waus (Ben) of Victor, Matt Fry (Lezlie) and Mike Fry (Kelly) m all of Smyrna, Tenn., Tyler Happel (Samantha) of Victor, Tawny Happel, Connor and Mariah Doran, all of Ladora, and Dawson Coghlan of Marengo; and six great-grandchildren, Michael and Nicole Schnebbe, Owen, Olivia and Aiden Van Waus and Hayden Fry.
John was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Marie Kruse; and his first wife, Elizabeth McGuire.
