McGee, Gregory E.
Gregory E. McGee, 56, of Marion, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 25, 2011. Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Murdoch Funeral Home in Marion.
Born July 3, 1955, to Edwin and Vera McGee, he married Jean Lazenby in 1983. They later divorced.
He is survived by his sons, Kyle and Luke of Marion.
Greg loved the outdoors and being with his boys. He was a great father. He was a 30-year member of Carpenters Local 308 and a master of acoustical ceiling installation.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to his best friend, Gary Driscoll, for all he has done.
A memorial fund has been established. Cards and memorial donations for the family may be directed to Murdoch Funeral Home, 3855 Katz Dr., Marion, IA 52302.
