McFadden, Florence (Stiles)
Florence (Stiles) McFadden passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010, in Inverness, Fla. Burial was held in Florida. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Surviving to honor her memory are a sister, Evelyn Steele; a niece, Shirley June Allee; a nephew, Donald (Connie) Albaugh of Cedar Rapids; stepdaughter, Carol McFadden of Florida; numerous grandnieces and grandnephews; and one stepgrandniece.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and niece, Beverly Albaugh.
Florence was born June 4, 1921, to Harvey and Minnie Palmer Stiles in Oxford Junction, Iowa. While living in Cedar Rapids, she worked in the Officers Club in the old Montrose Hotel. She was a wonderful seamstress and gourmet cook who loved doing things for other people. She will be missed by many.
Memorial may be mailed to Marion Christian Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
