McEnany, Arthur J. 'A.J.'
Arthur J. “A.J.” McEnany, 92, of Manchester, formerly of Ryan, died Friday, Aug. 21, 2009. Mass of Resurrection: 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Monti, with the Rev. John Flaherty as celebrant. Interment: church cemetery. Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. today at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home & Crematory in Manchester, with a Scripture service at 3 p.m., and one hour before service time Monday at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta McEnany of Manchester; six children, Arthur J. (Ginny) McEnany of Missouri, Margie (John) Heles of Des Moines, Marilyn (Charlie) Moore of Cedar Rapids, Barbara (Dan) Feldmann of Cedar Rapids, Maxine McEnany of Davenport and Bill McEnany of Ryan; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A.J. was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Tom McEnany; one daughter, Kathryn Christensen; one grandson, Scott McEnany; four sisters, Berniece Walderbach, Gertrude Cosgrove, Sadie Hite and Eileen Huseth; and one brother, Louis McEnany.
