McDowell, David E.
David E. McDowell, 62, of Cedar Rapids, died suddenly Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at his home. Celebration of life services: 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at Asbury United Methodist Church, 350 27th Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his sister, Janet (Jack) Minnaert of Cedar Rapids; brother, Scott McDowell of Cedar Rapids; two nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Brad.
David was born April 8, 1951, in Cedar Rapids, son of Vernon “Bill” and Jean (Krukow) McDowell. He was a United States Navy veteran. David loved hunting and fishing.
