McDermott, Thomas H.
Thomas H. McDermott, 53, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Family and friends will gather from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Dec. 21, 2009, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his father, Bill McDermott; his children, Dustin Perkins, Darrell Halverson, Derek McDermott, Dillon McDermott, and Daniella McDermott, all of Cedar Rapids; and a brother, Bill McDermott Jr. of Anamosa.
Thomas was born June 22, 1956, in Dubuque the son of William and Eileen (Kane) McDermott. He most recently worked in maintenance for ADM.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Collins Community Credit Union, Thomas McDermott Memorial Fund, 1755 First Ave. SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403.
