McDermott, James J. 'Jim'
James J. “Jim” McDermott, 58, of Manchester, Iowa, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at his residence in Manchester.
Survivors include his wife, Deanna McDermott of Manchester; one son, James McDermott III of Madison, Wis.; his father, James McDermott, Sr. of Rhode Island; four siblings, Patty (Kevin) Ricci, Michael (Janice) McDermott, Sharon (Walter) Salsbury, and Cyndi McCarthy, all of Rhode Island; and in-laws, Dennis (Sandy) Ahrens of Manchester, and Ellen (Lary) Becher of Arizona.
Jim was preceded in death by a daughter, Megan McDermott; his mother, Barbara McDermott; and his stepmother, Mary McDermott.

Funeral service: 11 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2013, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester.
Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester.
Interment: Oakland Cemetery, Manchester, Iowa.
