McDanniel, Carol Marie
Carol Marie McDanniel, 57, of 1827 Western Dr, SW, Cedar Rapids, died peacefully Friday, March 4, 2011, in her home with her loving family by her side. Memorial services: 1 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel. Inurnment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include her brother, James Lee McDaniel; her children, Anna Marie Mc Danniel, Eddie Mc Danniel and Tina Marie Mc Danniel, all of Cedar Rapids; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Billy Jo Mc Dannald.
Carol was born Jan. 13, 1954, in Meredosia, Ill., the daughter of Kenneth and Laura West. Carol had a life long companionship with Melvin Neal. She was employed with the Allied Van Co., and was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. She was a loving and kind person always helping people in need. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and was a collector. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the family, instead of flowers.
