McDaniel, Kilex Robert
Kilex Robert McDaniel, son of Kia Gruhn and Alex McDaniel, was born an angel baby on Friday, Jan. 1, 2010, in St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Private family services will take place.
Survivors include his parents; paternal grandparents, Samuel McDaniel of Ryan and Waukima Berg of Cedar Rapids; maternal grandparents, Robert Gruhn of Cedar Rapids and Susan Gruhn of Webster City; and God parents, Pam and Phil Slaymaker of Ryan.
A memorial fund has been established in Kilex's memory, c/o Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home, 520 Wilson Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404.
