McCusker, George E.

George E. McCusker, 85, of rural Ryan, died Sunday morning, March 18, 2012, at his home surrounded by family. Mass of Resurrection: 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 22, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ryan. The Rev. Richard Gaul will officiate. Family will greet friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, with a 2 p.m. rosary, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester and one hour before services at the church on Thursday. Private family inurnment: Calvary Cemetery, Ryan.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine McCusker of Ryan; seven children, Patrick McCusker of Manchester, Mary (John) Blank of Marion, Don McCusker of Des Moines, Susan (Ken) Finken of Council Bluffs, Bob (Janice) McCusker of Marion, Jerry McCusker of Ryan and Dave McCusker of Ryan; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

George was preceded in death by his parents, George and Susan McCusker; and two sons, Ronald in 2003 and Edward in 1973.
