McCune, William Michael
William Michael McCune died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010, at his home near Williamsburg at the age of 39. A prayer service will be held at 7 tonight at Powell Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Williamsburg, where visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley of Williamsburg; his siblings, Katherine (Jay) Friesen of Tucson, Ariz., Tom (Darlene) McCune of Cedar Rapids, Janet (Monte) Kugley of Homestead, Carolyn McCune of Des Moines, Kim McCune (fiance Steve Fuhrmeister) of Iowa City and Barb McCune of Williamsburg; and a sister-in-law, Joy McCune of Albert Lea, Minn.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Jr.; and a brother, John III.
A memorial fund has been established for the Williamsburg Fire Department.
