McCreedy, Millie
Millie McCreedy, 62, of Ainsworth, died Sunday, Nov, 8, 2009, at her residence after failing in health for the past seven months. Celebration of life services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Ainsworth Elementary School. Visitation will begin at noon today at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home, Washington, Iowa, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m.
Memorials have been established for renovation of the Ainsworth Community Church North Building for Kids' Club activities or Hospice of Washington County.
Millie is survived by her husband, Stanley L. McCreedy of Ainsworth; daughter, Kimberly A. Rees and husband Tim and their children, Aleah and Micah of North Liberty; son, Kevin A. McCreedy and wife Mindy and daughter McKenna of Iowa City; and daughter, Kara A. Miller and husband Jake and their daughter Annie of Sharonville, Ohio.
She is also survived by her brother, Edward I. Stout of Kansas City, Mo.; brother, William E. Stout and wife Dorothy of Ainsworth; sister, Louise Frakes and husband Harold of Brighton; sister-in-law Lois Stout of West Burlington; and sister-in-law, Judy Stout of Columbus Junction; as well as many nieces and nephews.
