McCormick, Tamara L.
Tamara L. McCormick, 53, died Friday evening, Aug. 31, 2012, from injuries received in an auto accident.
Come join us to celebrate her life at VFW Post 3949, (609 Highway 6 Bypass East, Iowa City, IA 52240). The party is this Sunday, the 9th, at 2 p.m.
She was born Jan. 15, 1959, in Bellflower, Calif., the daughter of Robert and Joeleen (Paxson) Krause. She has been employed at Walmart in Coralville.
Her family includes her sons, Philip Abshier and Michael Vasquez; granddaughters, Alexis Vasquez and Sunshine Zwolanek; mother, Joeleen Krause; sister, Nancy Hemphill; brother, Joel Krause; and several nieces and nephews; along with an extensive list of “adopted” family members and co-workers that ALL will love and miss her dearly.
A memorial fund has been established in her memory.
Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Services is caring for her family and arrangements at this time.
