McCormick, Norma J.

Norma J. McCormick, 58, of 2028 First Ave. NE, died Friday, July 27, 2012, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City after a long illness. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday.

Survivors include her significant other of 30 years, Jerry Stevens of Cedar Rapids; her mother, Betty McCormick of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Ruth (Tommy Sr.) Campbell of Cedar Rapids and Sandra McCormick of Tiptonville, Tenn.; and a brother, Gary of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews and six great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Norma was born June 25, 1954, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Merle and Betty (Lovell) McCormick. She worked for Cedar Rapids Janitorial for over 20 years.

Norma enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her beloved family, especially her nieces and nephews.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
