McCaw, Leona M.
Leona M. McCaw, 94, of Marengo, died Monday, March 1, 2010, at Rose Haven Nursing Home in Marengo. Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Douglas Morton officiating. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Kloster Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Marengo Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established.
Leona is survived by her husband, Norman, of 70 years; three sons, N. James “Jim” McCaw of Blairstown, Dennis “Denny” (Laura) McCaw of Tiffin, and Don (Edie) McCaw of Dike; a daughter Jeanene (Casey) Miller of Hudson, Wis.; nine grandchildren, Kory (Carol) McCaw of Sierra Vista, Ariz., Chet (Brenda) McCaw of Marengo, Vince (Jen) McCaw of San Diego, Calif., Ryan (Pat) McCaw of Eldridge, Joel McCaw of Tiffin, Chadd (Tiny) McCaw of Ames, Vance (Teppy) McCaw of Waterloo, WI, Nicole (Jerry) Leach of Lindstrom, Minn., and Staci Dietrich of Norfolk, Va.; step grandson, Eric (Dayna) Miller of Marlton, N.J; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Bessie Gant; her sister, Opal; and two nieces, Marian Tanke and Donna Weisskopf.
