McArthur, Linda A.
Linda A. McArthur, 63, of Walker, died Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 25, at First Christian Church, Center Point, by the Rev. John Caughron. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point. Burial: Center Point Cemetery, Center Point.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin; mother, Emny Johnson; children, Annette Kohl of Urbana, Kristine McArthur of Cedar Rapids and Jeffrey (Heather) McArthur of Center Point; grandchildren, Tyler Kohl, Courteney McCrary, Tessa Kohl, Brandon McArthur, Tallie Kohl and Gavin McArthur; and sister, Dolores (Bill) Vozenilek, and and brother, Marvin (Karen) Johnson, both of Walker.
Linda was preceded in death by her father.
Born Feb. 9, 1948, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Linda was the daughter of Loren and Emny (Kilell) Johnson. On June 4, 1966, she was united in marriage to Marvin McArthur in Center Point at First Christian Church.
Linda was a member of the Plaine Park Country Club.
Linda loved spending time with her grandchildren, farming, her pets and time at home. Other joys were crocheting, bowling, fishing and gardening.
