Mayrand, Carroll J. 'C.J.'
Carroll J. “C.J.” Mayrand, 73, of Alvord, Texas, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Jan. 4, 2010, in a Decatur, Texas hospital. Burial, with full military honors, was Jan. 8 at National Cemetery in Dallas.
Survivors include his children, Michele (Ricky) Hardee, Allan and Dean; sisters, Mary (Paul) Mann of Center Point and Barbara (Lee) Smith of Greenwood, Ark.; grandchildren, Makinna and Malloree Hardee; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carroll and Helen Mayrand; sons, Carroll and Robert; and stepson, Eugene.
Born Jan. 24, 1936, he proudly served 20 years in the Air Force.
