Maxine Brady, 87, died Sunday, July 3, 2016, at the Anamosa Care Center following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 7, at St Patrick's Catholic Church, Anamosa, with interment in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may register at the church after 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Goettsch Funeral Home has been entrusted to care for Maxine.

Survivors include her husband, Ed; four children, Ann (David) Bunting, Brad (Susan) Brady, Patti (Kim) Greenwood and Joni (Doug) Rickels; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Maldean Finn of Anamosa.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, William, Merlin, Tom and Raymond Finn, Mary Lou McNamara and Florence Marak.
Maxine Ann Finn was born July 14, 1928, in Lovell Township, Jones County, Iowa. She was the daughter of George and Laura Kelly Finn. Maxine graduated from the Anamosa Community Schools in 1948. She worked as a telephone operator for Northwestern Bell. Maxine Finn and Clarence Joseph Brady were married on April 24, 1950, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Anamosa. Maxine continued her work at Northwestern Bell Telephone. In later years, she worked for Albaugh Photography and Nemmers Photography until she retired.
The family would like to thank Dr. Kilburg and especially the staff and residents of the Anamosa Care Center for all their care, love and support the past three years.
