Matt, the son of Edwin Andrew and Sandra Patricia (Hurley) Reuwsaat, was born September 29, 1963, in Newton. He graduated from Newton High School in 1982. He worked at Warrick Motors in Newton for several years before moving to Iowa City. He most recently was working as a diesel mechanic in Iowa City. Matt was united in marriage with his soulmate, Christine Schomberg, on May 1, 2015, in Iowa City. Matt had a kind heart, always willing to help anyone he could, no matter how well he knew them. Matt’s family would like to thank the doctors and staff at The University of Iowa Hospitals for all their care for Matt and his family.
