Mathes, Billy Charles
Billy Charles Mathes, 74, of Tama, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011, at Carrington Place of Toledo. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 19, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tama with Pastor Greg Davidson officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
Survivors include three sons, Brian (Cherie) Mathes of Toledo, Scott (Julee) Mathes of Tama, and Tom (Jody) Mathes of Tama; his grandchildren, Ryan (Lesley) and Drew (Natasha), Levi and Abby, and Logan and Landon; two great-grandchildren, Brendon and Nevaeh; two sisters, Barb (Denny) Sheehan of Unionville, Mo., and JoAnn Ferguson of Grinnell; and several nieces and nephews.
Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo is handling the arrangements.
