Mathern, JoAnn
JoAnn Mathern, 58, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Spencer, passed away Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011, in Cedar Rapids at St. Luke's Hospital. Graveside services will be held at a later date at Riverside Cemetery in Rodman, Iowa.
JoAnn, the daughter of Frank and Beulah (Dalton) Webb, was born April 5, 1953, in Dexter, Iowa. She received her early education in Stuart.
JoAnn is survived by four children, Betty (David) Krogh of Dickens, Iowa, Shannon (Anthony) Bohl of Manhattan, Kan., Jeremy (Brittani) Kinney of Guthrie Center and Paul Mathern of Walker; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marlis (Charles) Beeler of Stuart and Janet (Dwayne) Schreier of McAllen, Texas; other relatives and many friends.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Shaun Kinney.
