Mary Pamela Wisehart, 92, of Urbana, died Thursday, April 3, 2015, at her son's home in Center Point. Funeral services: 11 a.m. April 7 at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, with visitation one hour
before the service. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth (Diana) Pirtle of Center Point; daughter, Sharron (Gary) Armstrong of Center Point; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Jesse (Martha) McCormack of Marion; niece, Shirley Zappa, including four others; and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters, Anne (Jim) Neely and Kathryn Lois.
Mary was born April 7, 1922, the daughter of Willy and Sarah (Huff) McCormack in Nashville, Tenn. On Feb. 26, 1944, she married Fay L. Wisehart.
Mary was a member of the Christian Church in Center Point and worked for Rockwell Collins for 15 years before retiring.
She loved baking and quilting and was a member of the Center Point Sewing Circle. Mary was an excellent gardener. You could find all kinds of flowers and vegetables in her garden.
