Mary Louise Wagner, 65, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014, at West Ridge Care Center, from complications of cancer. Services:
11 a.m. Wednesday at Teahen Funeral Home by the Rev. Garth Betry. Burial: Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mary is survived by her children, Brian Waterbury of Cedar Rapids, Brett Waterbury of Palo, Danielle (Rick) Seger of Marion, John Wagner of Hiawatha, Lindsey Wagner of Marion and Josh Wagner of Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Dave (Carol) Novotny of Hatfield, Pa.; two sisters, Margaret J. (Don) Manderscheid of Temecula, Calif., and Carol Novotny of Cedar Rapids; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; parents; and grandson, Brett J. Waterbury.
Mary Louise was born March 1, 1949, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Lodge and Esther Klassen Novotny. She married Bill Wagner on Oct. 22, 1973, in Cedar Rapids. Mary worked for many years at Cedar Memorial.
Mary loved hanging out by the pool with her family, shopping, gardening and fishing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
