Mary Alice Dietrich Tippin passed away Wednesday morning, Aug. 30, 2017, at Jon and Ruthie's home in Iowa City. She was 97 years old. Her children were with her, having given watchful care over her for the past number of days.
A memorial meeting for worship will be held Saturday, Sept. 2, at 10:30 a.m. at West Branch Friends Church (116 N. Downey St.) in West Branch.
Her family includes her children, Marna, Martha, Mary Joan and Jon; 11 grandchildren; 18 great- grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
