Mary Lina Robertson, 78,

of Springville, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019, at Terrace Glen Village, Marion. The family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion. A private family committal service will take place at Springville Cemetery officiated by Pastor Sue-Ellen Sherman.

Mary was born Nov. 4, 1940, in Anamosa, the daughter of Harry and Vera (Vernon) Latta. She was a graduate of Springville High School. On Sept. 3, 1961, in Springville, Mary was united in marriage to James "Buz" Robertson. Mary was a lifelong member of Springville United Methodist Church, where she was also a Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed dancing at Armar and Prairie Moon ballrooms, playing cards and attending her children and grandchildren's activities.

She is survived by her daughter, Kim (Tom) Donaldson of Springville; son, Tim (Heather) Robertson of Anamosa; daughter, Lisa Robertson of Springville; sister, Lorraine Gray of Anamosa; brother, Robert (Charlotte) Latta of Cedar Rapids; brother-in-law, Morris Grabau of Marion; grandchildren, Jared (Jehri) Donaldson, Jamie Donaldson, Nicole Robertson, Carly Robertson, Jesse Robertson, Lexi McKinney and AJ Robertson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Vera Latta; husband, Buz Robertson; and in-laws, James and Violet Robertson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mary's memory may be directed to the family to be designated later for various local organizations in the Springville area.
